In 2009 the FHO-A established the Kabul International Hospital, a 100-bed private facility located in the Karte-Naw neighborhood of Kabul, Afghanistan. This facility continues to provide vital health services to the urban Kabul population under the leadership of Afghanistan’s Ministry of Public Health.
The following services are provided:
-Emergency room services
-Surgical procedures/OB-GYN Services
In addition to providing tertiary level treatment services, the facility also serves as an education training center for the Asian Medical Institute, and provides outreach services to the local community.
